I'm excited to share my 'Hello World' moment with you today – the day I officially launch LovePiecedPerfection, my little corner of the internet dedicated to all things quilting!
My journey with quilting began when my mom gave me a sewing machine, and together, we tackled the world of curtain-making. Little did I know that such a small project would ignite a passion, leading to this very moment.
I love exploring the diverse world of quilting – from art quilting to traditional piecing...I LOVE it all and plan to share my love and passion with you! The geometric shapes and color combinations in quilting are fascinating and endless. Motivating me to keep going on this journey!
Discovering Studio 180 Design early on was a game-changer. Their tools and Tucker University classes elevated my quilting skills. Now, as a Certified Studio 180 Design instructor, my aim is to help you on your quilting journey.
While I draw inspiration from quilting experts like Timna Tarr and Deb Tucker, it's everyday quilters like you who truly captivate me. Your creativity constantly inspires me to try new things. My experience and expertise ranges from appliqué, embroidery, and foundation paper-piecing to other crafting projects such as memory bears, reading pillows, and bags! I love variety and hope you do too!
Giving back is also important to me. I spent my early days learning to quilt in a church ministry, and now, I'm working on introducing an opportunity for all of you to get involved in charity quilting too. Stay tuned for more information! There is nothing like giving the gift of warmth and comfort to someone in need.
