Deep in the Heart is the companion pattern for Marie Bostwick's novel, Between Heaven and Texas. It is the fourth collaborative work between Marie and Deb Tucker founder of Studio 180 Design. Just like Marie's character Mary Dell, this quilt is bigger than life! The Lone Star center (or the center plus the frame) could be a pretty quilt in its own right, but when you add those floating Lemoyne Stars around the edges, Deep in the Heart is a perfect bed size quilt. Don't let this one fool you. This Lone Star quilt is stripped piece and there are no "Y" seams! Now that’s worth a Texas “Yeehaw!” if I ever heard one!
